This isn’t just any game, either; it’s being developed by the horror masterminds at IllFonic and Gun Interactive (formerly Gun Media). These are the same devs who brought us Friday the 13th: The Game and The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, so you already know they’re about to treat Halloween with the care, grit, and horror authenticity it deserves.
When the news dropped, I straight up yelled. Then I called my dad.
Because for me, Halloween isn’t just a movie. It’s the movie, the one that introduced me to the horror genre. My dad and I watched it together when I was a kid. It was our thing. It became a tradition. That first eerie piano theme? That was the soundtrack to our father-son bonding. And now… now that world is becoming a game. I could hear the joy in my dad’s voice when I told him. We both knew this was something special.
